Richard’s first movie role was in the highly acclaimed Sidney Lumet film: Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead. You can see Richard in dialog scenes with noted actors Albert Finney, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke.

In 2017, Richard performs in a new feature film: The Land of Steady Habits, written and directed by Nicole Holofcener. The film is set in Connecticut and focuses on the journey of Anders Hill, played by Ben Mendelsohn, who has just retired. Richard Lublin plays Hill's friendly neighbor, and has dialogue with the leading actor in several scenes.

Richard is member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
